Once again not much has been going on, it’s been a little over a year since my mom died, we went to see her grave since I didn’t get a chance to on her birthday. I’ve still been getting stupid callers 90% of the time but I’ve pretty much been tweeting about them (please follow me if you dare – http://www.twitter.com/neohemp). Now that it’s getting warmer out I plan on starting up taking pictures again, and hopefully that will translate into more blog posts.

It seems like I can’t stop downloading apps now, I’ve gotten heavy back into twitter (follow me! http://twitter.com/neohemp) thanks to motweets, that app is unreal. I have x-fire which keeps track of what games I play and when and it also posts it to my twitter – because I know everyone is so interested in what I’m playing when.
I was quite disappointed because the most epic of apps ShopSavvy was supposed to come out at the same time as the Iphones, but it was delayed because of some mixup with MS. (I’m surprised <- sarcasm) I got to play around with it on my friend from work’s phone though and now I just want it even worse. That’s probably the only drawback of owning a winmo phone is the lack of apps right now but they’re making strides. I didn’t opt for the iphone strictly because I already own an ipod touch and it conserves battery power to not be listening to music on my phone (Although the speaker on the Tilt 2 is unreal and it is kind of fun to annoy people with my music).
If you guys know any good winmo apps let me know, my phone still has a little room
My brother is coming on the 28th of this month and I can’t wait. Me and Kathy are going to pick up Hunter on the 22nd too and he’s going to spend Christmas with us. We haven’t been able to get him very much because he’s on school now and I miss him alot.

So I again haven’t been posting regularly, but I would be happy to keep you up to speed!
- My toilet is stopped up, and I don’t want to call my apartment complex because the giant bear lady in the office scares me
- My car was misfiring, so I took it into the mechanic, who charges $70 to hook it up to the machine that reads what’s wrong with it, and he said the machine says that it’s misfiring. Technology is amazing(ly a ripoff). I purchased one of those machines myself post-haste… if anyone needs me to tell them the obvious I only charge $69.95
- A friend told me I should probably hurry up and have kids so that I can enjoy the later years of my life. I responded, why not have kids later in life and enjoy myself now? Or not have kids, and enjoy my entire life?

So the whole streaming video on my site was a bust because my buddy borrowed it for Little Big Planet and I never hooked it back up, and quite frankly nobody probably wants to look at me. However, I did add a little widget below my Flickr photostream which will tell you where I am and when it was last updated (apparently the last time it updated as of this post is when I was actually turning INTO my apartment complex..). If anyone else uses Google Latitude let me know I want to add some friends so I can keep an eye on them and all the seedy places they frequent.
My mom’s gravestone was finally put up, here are some pictures

Customer: “My remote is not working”
Me: “Have you tried changing the batteries?”
Customer: “It’s not the batteries.”
Me: “Could you try that for me?”
Customer: “Okay” (a bunch of noise)
Customer: “Oh it works now I didn’t know it was the batteries!!”
Sigh.

Not much is going on in my life, I did start a new account at my job, which has got me on edge, but that’s about it. Today I put streaming video on the site, don’t know how often I’ll broadcast it though. Just thought it would be something neat to replace the banner.. since I’m so handsome and all.

I’ve been majorly slacking on my posts, mainly because the same shit happens to me. I think the record needle of my life is stuck in the groove. Well, except I got a Vado HD, and my mom died.
My mom and I rarely got along, and she fought a long hard battle with addiction to alcohol and pills and wasn’t in the greatest shape. Despite the fact we didn’t get along most of the time, the last thing I told her was that I loved her, she was wanting me to take some movies to my grandma. It really put into perspective being estranged from family members and how much of a waste of time it is though. There are several family members I still feel not-as-close-as-I-used-to-be with and I’m afraid I’ll regret that too.
I always said that I wouldn’t be incredibly upset when my Mom died because of all the angst she caused me, but it’s really really hard and boy was I wrong. It’s been a little over a month since she died and I’m still having really bad problems getting my mind right, it’s like I’m mentally exhausted all the time.
If I could give any advise on it it would just be to stay close to your family no matter what happens.

So anyway, as you can probably surmise this post is going to be about work once again. I was reading a post on slickdeals (SHOUTOUT!) and it reminded me about how much extra special shitty my job has gotten lately. They’ve added an extra account [we do customer service for several companies after hours, so next time you call a company in the middle of the night, they probably just don't take calls from one company, so if you feel need to make the popular "Your job must be easy" comment, it's probably easy, but not as easy as you think, especially if you're a douchebag]
Anyway, this new account is horrendous. [If you haven't figured it out already, I make it a point not to mention the actual company, because even if my job is shitty, I love money.]
This company actually has us taking after hours customer service calls, but doesn’t actually allow us to do any customer service. So these people are callling in enormously angry (most of them were referred to the number by the lazy store managers) and .. that’s right, we have to refer them to another department for a callback. But that’s not the jist of it. Most of these customers actually call in wanting to RETURN MERCHANDISE. I apologized profusely to one lady and she said it wasn’t necessary for me to apologize, but was angry because they wouldn’t take her dining room table back at 12 in the morning because no manager was available. I told her to take it back in the morning when the manager is in, and she got angry! I offered to have someone call her back, she got angry! Apparently she’s discovered a means to shove a dining room table through a phone in order to return stuff.

Well it’s another multiple month gap since I last posted and lots of exciting things actually did happen, I just haven’t posted about them. I hit a lady’s car at a stop sign, got an insurance ticket (I have insurance, just have to prove it.. Pekin cops pulled me over for not having a license plate light and when I mentioned it at work 3 other people had the same experience… they must be bored).
But what better to post about on my first post in months than the state of the economy. I was thinking the other day about this subject based solely on the fact that our Krispy Kreme closed down. And that is the ultimate testament to the state of affairs around here. In Peoria, they’re actually running ads saying we’re in better shape than ever, and we’ve avoided economic crisis/etc. But you know, when you’re the fattest nation in the world and Krispy Kreme closes down, you’re in a dire state of affairs.
Just food for though.
Or lackthereof?
